Communications Manager

IIC-INTERSPORT International Corporation GmbH is the brand management and purchasing company of the INTERSPORT Group. We are seeking a skilled PR and Corporate Communications Manager to join our dynamic global team. This role is critical in shaping our public relations strategy and managing corporate communications to enhance INTERSPORT’s brand visibility and market presence worldwide.

Brand Partnerships and Sponsorships:

Work with key internal stakeholders to support, develop and manage relationships with sports brands, athletes, and other relevant partners to create co-branded campaigns, sponsorships, or event opportunities, to help elevate the brand’s profile and reach a broader audience.

Influencer Marketing:

Working with the team to identify and collaborate with sports influencers and ambassadors who align with the brand’s values. This involves negotiating deals, supporting potential content creation, and measuring the impact of influencer campaigns on brand awareness and sales.

Content Strategy:

In collaboration with marketing team members responsible for producing campaigns, support to broaden the campaigns reach via the creation of compelling content that can be distributed across various channels, including blogs, newsletters, and social media. This content would not only promote products but also tell the brand’s story and engage with the sports community.

Social Media Strategy:

Enhance and support to further drive the company’s presence on social media platforms. This includes in relation to PR initiatives; planning content, engaging with followers, analysing social media trends, and adjusting strategies to improve engagement and reach. This includes being the primary manager of external facing comms on our LinkedIn channel.

Market Research and Analysis:

Stay informed about market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor strategies. Utilize this data to adjust PR and marketing strategies, ensuring the company remains competitive and relevant in the market.
